Warranty / User Guideline
PRODUCT USE GUIDELINES AND WARRANTY TERMS
1. Intended Use
The sword is designed for recreational use, including training for historical reenactors, LARP participants, cosplayers, and as a decorative item. It must be handled with appropriate care at all times.
2. Rules of Use
The product should be used in a controlled environment, preferably under the supervision of an experienced instructor, and always in accordance with safety rules. The sword must be treated as a tool requiring special caution. Avoid directing the blade toward uninvolved persons and follow all safe-use practices.
3. Personal Protective Equipment
The user is required to wear appropriate protective gear during any activity involving the sword, including gloves, protective clothing or armor, and a fencing mask or helmet.
4. Age Restrictions and Safety
This product is a potentially dangerous tool and must not be accessible to children or persons under 18 years of age. Use requires adult supervision.
5. Natural Wear Warning
Normal use of the sword results in natural wear, including dents, nicks, and burrs on the blade. These are expected effects of use and are not covered by warranty.
6. Storage Conditions
The sword should be stored in a dry and secure place, away from moisture to prevent corrosion. For long-term storage, the blade should be properly oiled and maintained.
7. Blade Contact Warning
Avoid touching the blade with bare hands to prevent marks and residues that may lead to corrosion.
8. Prohibited Use
The sword must not be used for purposes other than those specified in Section 1. Any aggressive, unsafe, or improper use that may cause damage, injury, or unlawful acts is strictly prohibited.
9. Liability
The user assumes full responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from improper or unsafe use of the product.
10. Consultation
In case of uncertainty regarding proper use, contact the distributor or manufacturer for guidance.
WARRANTY TERMS
1. Warranty Period
Nova Fencing Ltd provides a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, confirmed by proof of purchase.
2. Repair Location
Warranty repairs are carried out by authorized Nova Fencing service centers.
3. Repair Time
Upon receipt of the product, the warranty claim will be assessed within 30 business days by a team of experts to determine its validity. If the claim is deemed justified, the repair will be completed within a further 30 business days.
4. Covered Defects
The warranty covers physical defects resulting from causes inherent in the product, including material and manufacturing defects.
5. Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty does not cover defects resulting from:
– improper use or use inconsistent with these Product Use Guidelines,
– mechanical damage caused by external factors,
– improper storage or transport,
– use for purposes other than recreational or decorative,
– use by persons under 18 years of age,
– wear and tear of leather, wooden, and minor components resulting from intensive use.
6. User Obligations
The user is required to:
– use the product in accordance with these guidelines,
– store the product properly,
– report defects within the warranty period,
– provide the pictures/videos and description of the flaws for the warranty to be accepted (in some cases, a personal inspection by Nova Fencing employees is required).
7. User Rights
In the event of a valid warranty claim, the user is entitled to:
– repair of the product,
– replacement with a new product,
– price reduction,
– withdrawal from the contract (where applicable under law).
8. Required Documentation
To process a claim, the user must provide proof of purchase. A warranty card may be required if issued with the product.
9. Filing a Claim
Claims must be submitted to an authorized Nova Fencing service center after prior contact via phone or official online communication channels.
