Lednica is a one-handed Viking sword with a long crossguard and a “brasil nut” type pommel (Petersen’s typology).
Our Viking swords are crafted with structural consistency based on historical sources. The blades are slightly tapered, feature a wide fuller, and end in a rounded tip. The most distinctive element of Viking swords is the pommel — in the Lednica model, the blade is broad with a distal taper, the crossguard is slim and long on both sides, while the pommel resembles a brasilian nut.
The blade is made of high-carbon steel with a hardness of 45–50 HRC, which guarantees exceptional impact resistance, and excellent durability even with intensive use. The tip is rounded for safety reasons. The wooden handle is wrapped in natural leather.
